Ron Munvez, founder of Tri-Fitness & Performance, has had a lifelong passion for fitness. He has over 35years of experience providing personal training for a broad variety of clients. He has worked with a large variety of clients from youth to senior, from Little League Baseball players to #1 NFL draft picks. He is one of the most sought out trainers in Chicago.
Ron is a former NCAA Athlete. He has a BS in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. Ron is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), he is also a Level 2 certified Youth Fitness Specialist through the International Youth and Conditioning Association (IYCA) and is certified Parisi Speed School Coach

Ron is one of only 40 trainers worldwide to have completed all four mentorship programs at the prestigious EXOS (Formally Athletes’ Performance) in Phoenix AZ. EXOS is the top training facility in the world for elite and professional athletes. He is a TPI-CGFI (Titleist Performance Institute – Certified Golf Fitness Instructor) and Precision Nutrition Certified.
Ron was formally the strength, conditioning and speed coach for Chicago’s Lane Tech football and baseball teams and the conditioning and speed coach for the Chicago Force women’s professional football team.

Brian Lyons Brian has over 20 years’ experience in sports performance training. He has worked with both youth and adult athletes to improve speed, agility, quickness, strength and power for a variety of sports. He is one of the most sought-after trainers in Chicago. He has trained worldwide while working for Power Plate.
He was a 2- sport athlete in college. Brian has earned numerous professional training certifications and holds a Master’s Degree in exercise Science with an emphasis in Sports Performance Enhancement. He is a Level 2 certified Youth Fitness Specialist through the International Youth and Conditioning Association (IYCA). He was the performance coach at Br. Rice HS for both football and baseball.
Previously, Brian was a faculty member for PTA Global (www.ptaglobal.com) and an educator for Power Plate (www.powerplate.com) and Technogym (www.technogym.com). Brian also has experience as a fitness director in three health clubs, and started his career as a high school strength & conditioning coach.

Emily Zonca is the newest member of our team. Shehas had a lifelong passion for sports that has led her to a passion for coaching young athletes. Emily is a certified Parisi Performance coach and holds a BS in Kinesiology. She loves applying the latest research findings to her client’s programs and athletic development. She has worked with athletes of various sports, ranging from wrestling to softball/baseball, to football. Coach Emily joined the Tri-Fitness & Performance team in early 2020.
Emily has competed in a variety of sports including softball, volleyball soccer and golf. At NIU (Northern Illinois Univ.) she was a starter for their D1 rugby team
